We’re selling these tiny skates ⛸️ for a minimum donation of $5 per pair.
Use these as ornaments on your tree, a broach for your jacket, or as a little gift tag!
We're proud to be donating 100% of sales to Win House and Boyle Street Community Services. WIN House offers women, non-binary individuals, and children a safe place to flee. Boyle Street Community Services supports individuals and families experiencing homelessness and poverty in Edmonton.
- In 2022, we raised $628 in just 5 days.
- In 2023, we raised $3577 after selling 472 pairs!
These skates were knit by 92 year old Irma, Danielle's grandmother, for our annual holiday fundraiser!
It now takes her about half an hour to make each pair. When Irma was just a small child, she watched her grandmother knit and began to mimic her techniques. She remembers knitting dish cloths around five to eight years old!
We’ll be making the donation on behalf of Irma so that she can continue to give back to the community and we’ll be sure to post the receipt.
Due to our overwhelming stock, online orders will be dealers choice for colours! If you have a colour preference, please leave a note at checkout and we'll accommodate as best as we can. If your order is local pick-up you are welcome to exchange in store :)
