Collection: Hibi Incense

The Harima region of Awaji in Japan has been producing matches and incense for more than a century. The westerly winds through Awaji island create the perfect humidity and temperature to dry incense. Herbs grown locally by traditional methods provide the unique source for Japanese fragrances. In 2011, The Kobe Match Co. and Daihatsu Co. (two traditional match and incense-making companies) created the award-winning hibi Japanese incense sticks, an innovative hibi incense match that you are enjoying today.

Hibi means "day to day" in Japanese, a nod to how easy the incense match is to use everyday. It's simply relaxing, refreshing, and uplifting.
